STI RUSH: Needs your opinion (Carbon Fiber/Stock)
Fellow I-clubbers,
I'm in a dilema. I got a good deal on seibon oem hood and wingless trunk. But, I dont know if it would look good on a OBP STI. Your opinions please!
Thanks again,
STI RUSH

I didn't vote because my choice/recommendation would be to not even buy Seibon hood or trunk products, unless you're going for their dry carbon offerings. Instead go with Varis, or Do-Luck products for better quality, and better fitment. Also, if considering a wingless look, have you given any thought to whether you'd like the looks of a vented hood w/no scoop, to cool your engine bay better, or do you want to keep the subaru hood scoop look?

Ok. Also, luckily for you, you can get away with not painting your CF pieces, since (imo) on a black car they blend so well. Unless you simply want to spend a lot of money to have a good painter blend the cf hood and trunk with the surrounding OBP. I would still definitely recommend checking out Varis for an OEM replacement hood. I already know they make a trunk, as I have one, as does Adam at EQ, and there was another NorCal guy who has one, and they've all been lovely. It weighs like 9lb lol. Do-Luck trunks are always going to have their signature duckbill spoiler built in, so that wouldn't quite keep with your OEM style.

Looks like Varis only makes vented ones (which I love lol), but no OEM style ones. In any case, pics anyway!
Apparently Do-Luck DOES in fact make an OEM style hood. Voila! Thanks Armin for yet another amazing photo. (Hope you don't mind me linking)

Car Info: 2005 WRX - Stage 2 and EQ Tuned!
One thing I have noticed since buying the WRX, is that the hood and trunk are really light. I don't see a lot of use buying CF for those parts, seems like a waste of money. Unless you like the way it looks, then by all means that is your choice.
