Thanks. Those spots look like they'll do just fine. I see you say that you have the leveling motors hooked up. Where did you get the cabin switch for that and more importantly the wire harness to connect it all together? Also, i'm assuming you installed HD lights. if that's so what did you do to correct the light pattern?
Thanks,
Todd

george.davies@chaiofangimports.com Here is the guy that I got my levelling harness from. He is in Canada and was very good to deal with. The harness has factory ends on it for the headlight portion and a add in circuit on the inside that was really easy to install. You can also buy the swithch form him. He told me that for everything that it would be $170.00 US. My lights are the facotry HIDS so they came with the ballasts already.

I have not changed the beam pattern as of yet. If you adjust them correctly they are really quite good. I have had someone drive my car so that I can see how blinding they
are to on coming traffic, they are not!!!

I will try to take a pic this weekend of the other side.

later Super

Thanks.
I just emailed him and I look forward to your picture. I am still repairing on of my lights. I was lucky enough to be able to purchase two HID shells for a mear $250 shipped. The catch is that one of the lights was pretty beaten up. Mainly the mounting bracking where the light mounts near the front grill is broken off. The lenses are near perfect so I felt it was worth the time.

Thanks for the help.

No rush. I still am in the process of repairing on of the lights. I am looking for a passenger side stock 02-03 headlight (good or broken: broken is usually cheaper) to disect and use the mounting bracket if you know of any.

Nice Hella horns. I have the same ones. Do your lights have a cover on them or is that just the look of the flat blacks?

hey mulder,
i have installed the JDM headlights on my wrx but, im not sure if i did it right. when i turn my lights on with the switch or the parking brake, it seems to only use the high beems. i was wondering what you think and if you have any suggestions.

Well you must have done something wrong then. If you can turn on the lights with your parking brake that means you haven't disabled your DRLs which I suggest you do by unplugging the main module by the glovebox.
As for only the high beams coming on, the projectors (outer beams) should come on as low beams, the inner lights should come on as high beams. Check your common power wiring (should split to one side of each bulb) and the switched grounds (low beam switched ground to low beam bulb, high beam switched ground to high beam bulb).

Jizzo,
What happens when you put the high beams on? Does the projector come on? If so then you have your wires backwards. Personally I used the plug-n-play harness from cc-b.

I have had no problems.

Todd

Oh, and make sure your high beams aren't on
