STI Front Grill For The WRX
I'm thinking about buying an STI or Liberal fron grill for my '02 WRX.
Does any one have pictures of a car with with one of these grills taken from the side so I can see the profile of the grill after installation? If any one has and comments about quality or fitment please share them.
Thanks.

Well, you cannot argue about the fitment of the STI grill, as it is a factory component overseas. Check www.vividracing.com. I am sure that they have both of the grills on cars.

Thanks. But thats where I first found them, the problem is they only have a front view and I need to see a profile view as well before I make my decision.

Another place you can check out is www.subydude.com. He normally has good deals on STI parts.

got mine today from subydude. fits perfectly like a glove.
the silver is slightly off from the body color, imo, but since its in the middle of the car, it doesnt seem to be out of place.
first thing i did...took off that darn ugly pink Sti emblem. hehehe.
the color clashes with my car.
i tired taking some picts, but my camera's a peice of crap and
the picts turned out too dark.

Thanks for the Pics nywrxtasy. I does look good.-But I was hoping that it would jut out a little farther. The Liberal one seems too but I have yet to get a look at it from the side. I am hoping To give the hood the appearance of being longer than it actually is. The stock front is a little stubby and flat for my tastes. Besides, while I am most likely going to get the STi model, and the price of the Liberal grill is a little steep, if Subaru does bring the STI model to the U.S. I might like to have something a little more unique. Obviously the Liberal is not as common because I can't seem to find a side picture of one.
I really appreciate seeing the pics you posted. The fit looks top notch and I from the photos the paint seems to match pretty good, besides since the grill is at a diferent angle to the hood and bumper it is usualy going to be hit diferently by the light. It definitely adds a more aggressive tone your WRX.
By the way, The larger scoop looks good too. I just ordered one myself.

Below is a 'from the top/front' look. It makes the front end look longer and not as blunt/flat (at least imho), because the fact that the bottom slopes out.
Hope it helps :-)

Thanks
Yes they are PIAA P-3000's. They are a dual light. The inside light is a driving light while the outside is a fog. (I took the Ion yellow bulbs that were there and put them in my stock fogs, I then put Plasma bulbs in place of them so they are both white light).
Not hard to install at all. They mount with either screws or a block of double sided tape (really strong). There is a 5w marker lamp in them too.
I put the control in the little fuse tray next to your left knee under the dash (stealth lol).
Look under the dash above the pedals, there is a grommet that is in the firewall. I ran the control wire through there.
