I had an interesting problem with my 2001 RS that I thought everybody might be intersted in just in case it happens to you. It all started with my ABS light coming on every once in a while. Then my left blinker light light would stay on only when my headlights were on. I found out that my trailer lighting harness went bad. I guess on import vehicles the brake lights and tail lights use seperate filimants in the same bulb where domestic vehicles use a 12v source for the brakes and a 6v source for the tailights in the same bulb. The trailer lighting harness converts the import style lighting to domestic lighting so it can use the generic trailer lighting. Well this harnes must have shorted out to ground internally and caused all my electrical problems. Once I replaced the harness on the car all my problems went away. Just FYI.
