Roof Scoop...Yes, or No?
I found this product on fastwrx.com and was wondering if anyone had it on their car. From the picture I think it looks really good, however I was wondering if it would get ripped off at high speeds.(It is a fake roof scoop so in order to make it functional I would need to cut a hole in my roof and I'm not willing to do that.)It is installed with one screw and 3m adhesive. It is Approximately 2" high x 10.5" wide x 13" long.
I was wondering what everyone thought of it, I personally like it but....

There is no use, but I have a mesh insert to block rocks and stones in my hood scoop, I have mesh in my syms front body kit, and I thought it would compliment them well.

yeah.. it does NOT appeal to me either but if that's what you want then I say go for it...
If you're also trying to make your car go faster I do NOT think that's the mod for you since it will cause drag and air resistance

if it looks cool to you, and you like it get it. if you are looking for every ones opinion, i do not think you will get every one to agree.
it looks pretty cool, especialy if it has the same mesh in the grill and ic intake. honestly it would look better on a wrx then a rs, or an evo becausee those are the style of cars that have such things like that, it would look like dog pi$$ on a neon, well anything would really, i think it is alright.

This is a newbie question for sure...what is the exact purpose of a real roof scoop??? Fresh air while rallying? Is it because rally cars remove their a/c and they need a way to get air w/out opening the windows???
