OK. The front ends
DO
NOT
SWAP.

That chopped track car is a completely custom job. Blended fenders and god knows what else to make everything line up. The fenders are different, the door lines are different, the cowl area is different. You cannot swap the parts.

The only way you'd be able to do this is by buying every single '08 front end piece and getting busy with a ton of bodywork. You'd be hacking up your original fenders and hood, too, to make everything line up, if you could even do it; my mind reels at the amount of metalwork and FG involved.

Vivasuby... This thing you want to do is gonna cost you a bit in a body shop.. Say around $10k or more, plus the cost of a complete 08' STI front end, so by the time you're done you're probably looking at around $15 to 20k..

wtf is wrong with the op? is he in his own world? besides the complication of this whole "swap," who in the right mind would want to swap him their 08 front end for a 04?

I would not only be worried with how much work would be involved but also the fact that I wouldn't trust a body shop to do everything correctly. With that big of a job SOMETHING would be messed up.

This isn't a "have a beer and swap 02-07 trunks" kind of job

The OP is the same guy that was looking for a Blitz Nur Spec for several months, got his hands on one, then decided it was too risky to run and wanted to sell it... then couldn't sell it and is now keeping it.
