PIAA vs Nokya vs ???

Anyone on here have an opinion on the difference in quality between these two?

Any other brand I should look into?

I'm looking to replace the bulbs in my GC8... I've had PIAA's before (hyper white?) and liked them but they're pricey. I keep seeing the Nokya's which cost so much less...

Sylvania Silverstars are good too.

I've had them on no problem for about a year and that's WITH my daytime running lights still operational (I like making sure that people can see me...so they don't hit me).

However, a guy I know had problems with them as far as their bulb life but I dunno if he did anything else to fark them up or if they were a bad batch. I say get them...they're great!

PIAAs are overpriced and don't last that long. Nokyas are generally regarded as crap as are most of the "hyperwhite", "HID look" etc. blue-coated bulbs.
If you truly want improved lighting for a decent price you can try a set of the Osram Silverstars(not the same as Sylvanias) or Narva Rangepowers as sold here-

Even if you aren't happy with them you won't be out a lot of money.

I don't believe that PIAAs are overpriced IMO. My dad has PIAAs on his 4Runner and so far they've lasted like 7 years and still going strong, no drls though, but still, it was worth the $90.

My PIAA Super Plasmas cost me $70, and burned out after 2 1/2 years. I replaced them this year with Osram Silverstars from www.powerbulbs.co.uk They were about $30, with free shipping and free corner lamp bulbs.
