Okay, today my zero sport grill finally came in. So I started to paint the grill and my eyelids since they were not matching the color of my car anymore???. But anyways, how long should I wait before I put them on on my car? And also, how long before waxing? I believe it is something like 45 days you have to wait until waxing. And I believe it's 48 hours before putting them on the car. Someone correct me please!

 

also, i am now putting on coats of clear coat on. Seems like the paint looks flat...what could be going on? It didnt happen to me when I first painted my stock grill and eyelids???? grrrrr

 

did u sand and prep first? and depending on color light or dark, light or dark primer is essential for deep looking color. also wash and prep too before painting? always make sure u have constant air pressure, and in a fairly nondusty environment. hope this helped

 

thanks for your input. I wet sanded with fine fine grit and washed it. Gave it about 3 coats of silver paint and 4 coats of clear coat. it came out fine except for a lil overspray on the eyelid. besides that its perfect.
