Morette headlamp install problems
My cousin FINALLY got his morette headlamps from motor matrix (awful service, he's not ordering from them anymore). We went to hook them up but had some problems. There are two harnesses that connect to the rear of the stock lights. One large one and a smaller one. We connected the smaller one to the morettes just fine, was a direct plug in but for the large stock connector we couldn't attach it to the small morette connector. They're both 3 wire harnesses, do you have to cut off the connectors and attach the wires? I was under the impression that this stuff was all plug and play (should be for the price!). They also need to do something about their instructions! If a company wants to sell a product to people in another country the least they can do is hire someone who knows english to write decent instructions in ENGLISH. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

It sounds like you didn't get the actual plug-and-play harnesses. If you did there would be an adapter harness with a 9007 connector for the factory headlight wiring and an H4 connector for the Morette side. Contact your vendor (like them or not you did give them your money so you are entitled to service) and ask them to provide the proper harnesses. If they won't/can't you might be able to return the lights and buy another set from a different vendor who will supply the harnesses (most now do). There are also vendors here and on the other forums who sell just the harnesses so you could get them that way although you will of course have to pay more than you already have.
Whatever you do don't cut any wires, the harnesses are definitely available and cutting/splicing is not necessary.

Most vendors now include the harnesses when you buy Morettes, but it is an aftermarket item not actually supplied by Morette so it depends on the individual vendor. It's a bit late now but this is something you need to verify before ordering.
