Unhappy messing up installing bulbs

i messed up removing my fogs. I tried removing three bolts like it said in the maual, but the third one i tried ended up being the aimer. LOL im an idiot. so i eventually got the three bolts and tried to remove the fogs. I had such a hard time trying to get the connectors off. i cant do it. and i took a peep inside the fogs, and the H3 bulb looked IMPOSSIBLE to remove since i never dealt with those models. So i am lost. Should i go to the dealer and have them install the bulbs for me? Should i have them RE-AIM the fogs?

They are really easy to get out once you see how it works. Just push that metal retainer down and to the side and it should let the bulb come right out. as for aiming them you shouldn't have a problem doing it yourself, just pull up to a wall or something put the car about 25ft away and adjust it so it's about the same level as the other one. -James

now the bulbs i got are 100watts. i know that our stock headlights are only like 60watt/80watt. icalled the company whosold it to me and they said it was fine. but i called pepboys and they said that it would melt the harness. I also got HID look alike bulbs for the fogs. is this true?

I wouldn't put them in because there is a pretty good chance they will melt the harness. The stock fogs are 55W IIRC, the headlights are 55W/65W meaning 55 for the low beams and 65 for the highs. I wouldn't go any higher unless you plan on a costly rewire in the near future. I'm not sure what you are looking for in your bulbs but blue is not the best color for seeing,(my opinion) yellow for the fogs and white for the headlights works best. you would be better off with the stock ones or a good set from Daniel stern lighting http://lighting.mbz.org/home.html .-James
