Looking for the high beam control voltage...
I have already installed PIAA driving lights and wired the control to a control voltage that is on whenever any exterior lights are on. I did this so I could use them in inclement whether without having the headlights on. I've been turning the lights on and off at the dash control that I installed with the lights.
But now as summer is approaching, I'd like to have faster access to turning them on and off. I'd like to switch them simultaneously with my high beams. So I need to find the control voltage under the dash that operates the high beams.
I'm familiar with the control relays under the dash as I have also already completed the fog light modification. But before I spend hours poking around with a DMM trying to find the control voltage, I wanted to see if anyone already knew where I could find it.
Again, I'm looking for a control line that goes to 12v when and only when the high beams are activated.
