From what I've read and from what I've seen after inspecting both wings, you are paying an extra $1000 to get an sti logo that is inlaid on the underside of the wing. I was told the replica is manufactured by the same company that makes the STI one. They are identical and both of great quality. I honestly couldn't tell them apart without looking for the STI logo.

huck AND Uncle Scotty are both 100% correct!
Also, some say the weave pattern on the replica is even nicer than the genuine one, but I'm not so sure of that myself (I have the replica)
