JDM with HID upgrade
JDM with HID's installed w/pics
Just put in the jdm with the "actual" Hella HID system and I have to tell you how amazing it is. The overall brightness is through the roof making the light crisp and clear. It makes driving Alot easier and saferto a certain extent the only downside is the price of about 700 just for the HID kit alone, That comes ballasts and all equipment needed to install.
The Install took about 4 hours and you need some knowledge about wiring and light systems, The only problem I encountered was that the stock wiring harness will not fit on the jdm's so some custom mods are required, ill let you know about them in greater detail ifyou do actually go through the process. To me it was worth the money ive spent, alot of double takes and driving at night is really cool with these lights.
I have the pics but the file size is too big and i cant get it small enough to post

how much did you pay for the jdm lights? they usually go for...800 or so? so +$700 for the hella hid's. how come you didn't get the jdm projectors with the jdm hid's? it comes out to be pretty much the same price right? pic's would be great if you do find a way!

I bought my JDm headlights and HID kit from Vivid Racing and so far so good. Only problem is wireing them up, other than that it was easy.

I'm glad you like them. I just ordered a set of morettes (projector) with the HID. Got it on the group buy from Z1auto.com. $850 for everything. I didn't think that was a bad deal since the HID kits are like $500 alone. Plus the HID will be going through the projector lense. Should be interesting. How do you compare them to the factory lights? Do you still find yourself using your fogs????
