Ipod In The Cup Holder
So everyone knows that the cup holder in the dash of the wrx's suck *****.... I got the alpine deck which has the Ipod input on it which is cool cause i hate cd's. I got a small piece of platic and cut it out to the specs to fit in the bottom of the cupholder so the bottom is flush..... Then cut the **** out of the female part of the cupholer.... took me a while to get it right.... I took the spring out and heated it up and bent it back more so it could push the weight of the ipod out... it isn't much weight, but this is very critical in order for the spring to push the ipod and the cupholder out. Make sure to sand down the bottom where you put the glue to hold the new plastic piece in. There is a lot of trial and error in where to cut and what to sand. ohh... and i'm not tryin 2 take credit for the "impreza" badges on the cup holder... but i will take credit for the "wrx" to the right of the cigarette lighter... from debaging the car...

the only lame thing about this, is that the way to scroll through the songs suck.... sometimes it lags if you are on song 3 and want to listen to song number 700..... its only like a 3 second lag, but i think its a whole lot better than having 30 cd's flying around in your car....
