Inaccurate Omori gauge - Please help.
When I turn my key to the "accessory" position, my 60mm Omori Boost gauge goes to zero. But not exactly zero. it actually goes to 1 psi. Also, when I hit full boost, the gauge reads about 14 psi, but when I press on the button for the memory/playback feature, it reads 16 psi. Why? I never hit 16 psi.
Anyone know why? Is there a way to calibrate the gauge so it reads at 0 psi at first power, and to read my peak boost accurately?
BTW: I'm not using the plastic "Y" fitting that came with the gauge because it was too small for tapping off the blow-off valve.
I'm using a "T" fitting that I got at an auto parts store. I noticed the original "Y" fitting had a brass restrictor for the hose that leads to the sensor. The new "T" that i'm using, does not.
Can this be the cause of the incorrect peak/playback reading?
Please help me if you know.
Thanks
TT
