Hypothetical situation....
I've been a long time visitor to the forums and I just registered. Thanks for all the helpful info.
I was just wondering about this though. This may sound stupid, but have any of you ever tried temperpedic material? You know, the memory foam used on beds? Hypothetically, if I were able to get some of this material, would it be possible to make a seat out of it? Say by "hollowing out" a stock seat and stuffing it? This was just an idea my brother and I were talking about on a road trip. I have no way of making one, but do any of you think that it could be feasible?

a lot of the higher quality racing/street seats incorporate something like this. i think Sparco's Tourino seats have memory foam in them.
i think that the hardest part would be getting the stock upholstrey back onto the seats once they had memory foam in them.
