How to remove rear deck?
I just got my WRX and am going to tint the rear window (I already did the sides). I was wondering if anyone can give me some tips on removing the rear deck. I don't want it to get wet and soggy. And don't ask me to buy a repair manual as I just dropped a lot of dough on this car.

I have forum post from Kastle that should help. Although he is replacing the rear speakers, it should help out. I hope.

I installed some speakers in my rear dash, but my friend (owner/installer of performance shop) did the seat removal for me while worked on speaker pods.
First he removed the rear seat cushion, than the seat back. a couple of bolts and clips.
after that the child safety seat plastic anchors came off.
i also took out the third brake light (v7 spoiler has one)
feel around for clips, I think there was 8 holding the rear dash down.
you will want to rest the dash where the seat was, or unbolt the seat belt.
and you are there, reverse the process to be back to normal.
