it should be just a clip. i disabled my 07 2.5 as well as an 07 wrx and 07 and 08 sti. so it should be the same. the clip is harder to find because its hidden under some parts.

if you look under the hood, right by passenger side strut, there will be a gray clip....unclip that and kiss goodbye to those damn DRLs. It is located right by a "CAUTION HOT" sticker

heres a pic of my 07 wrx, I think it should be the same for a 07 STi. Just unplug the grey plug pictured. Remember that its by the front passenger side strut and just look for the "caution high temp" silver box (also pictured). Its right under it. I used a zip tie to tie the two ends together so I dont have any loose wires in my engine bay

I have an 07' STI, and here is what I did, but I didn't cut the wire. I just pulled the pin out of the blue connector and put some shrink tubing on the pin so I don't void my warranty. This plug is right under your dash on the driver's side. Use a jeweler's screw driver to push the pin out of the plug... Green/yellow stripe wire.. I hope this helps everyone that wants to disable their 07' STI DRL's.

i just did this on my 06 wrx...theres a module behind the glovebox that says DRL on it with one connector going in to it. if you take out the glove box and that little corner piece next to it, its right behind there. its black, about 3in square
