How to disable daytime running Light?

Using forum Search feature and keywords 'daytime running light', there were several results. Here's the only thread I looked at - it seems to contain the info you're looking for so I didn't feel like looking further:

Try to make sure that your '05 has connections and wiring as described in the other threads. Subaru sometimes makes small running changes and doesn't see fit to tell us every time.

By the way, in case you want to do this mod so that you can drive with just your parking lights on at dusk, that practice is not legal in CA. See section 24800 of CA Vehicle Code.
Why this law is on the books is political issue and not for this forum so we won't get into it here (plus, it's too dumb of an issue to debate).
