The MY02-03 isn't very aerodynamic at all but it could be worse. The side mirrors start to whistle at 120mph for crying out loud. You'd think they would have made it a little more aerodynamic because of it being a turbo and the fact it eats gas. The MY04 is probably a little bit more aerodynamic than the MY02-03 but it's hard to say. Im will to bet the GC style is the most aerodynamic.

I wish Subaru would bring the old GC style back into the subaru's of the future.

I remember someone took the time to draw a badass prototype drawing of a future GC style impreza but i can't find it Someone please find it and post it here.

Aerodynamic as a damn brick, that's what...If you wanted an aerodynamic car, you bought the wrong one...

The mirrors whistle 'cuz there are stickers in there.....peel the damn stickers off and they should stop whisteling...mine did

i think i remember hearing that the 04 was designed in conjuction with prodrive to reduce drag? i might be wrong, and i'm sure someone's gonna correct me. but hey, nothing a 3 foot high shopping cart wing can't fix, rite?

I'd just be happy if they'd test the windshield wipers at anything over 70.

I'd say for the most part the 04 is pretty well done.

I mean obviously the hood scroop creates a ton of drag. I love watching it bounce around as I drive...the mirrors still wistle on the 04's but not as bad.

My wagon gets crappy gas mileage but I don't think it would help any if they made it more aerodynamic...pretty well done already. I mean damn...I get 21mpg. My freakin 88 ranger got better mileage than that.

Your Ranger wasn't a high preformance, AWD, turbo'd vehicle.

but it was a very square shisty strait 6 built 15 years ago.

I think I have room to be bummed with many many others I'm sure with my gas mileage. Said 22-26mpg.....if you read up on it I've seen them listed at 27.

I've never seen that. Even during break in staying below 4k.

umm..yeah...wrx is hardly aerodynamic. I drive at about 50 and the car is creating so much low pressure current around it that it blows everyhting around inside. My civic, I can go 80 and barely feel any wind. The sti scoop on my car flexes at about 60. Bottom line is, there are trucks more aerodynamic than the WRX.

if you wanted good gas mileage all you whiners go trade your WRX in for a Honda Hybrid and see how fun it is to drive

If you want fast fun and nice handling car that rapes moded hondas a second ***, keep the WRX and dont ***** about gas
