HID Colour
I have a question regarding the colour of HID lights. Does anyone know the difference between 4150K, 5000K and 6000K lights other than the fact that the higher the kelvin the bluer the colour. Which gives the best light for driving?
I currently have 5000K lights, but found out that they are just 4150K bulbs with a blue filter coating. Would removing the filter give more light? Has anyone done this?
They are Philips bulbs in case anyone is wondering.
Thanks.

4500 is the optimum color temp if you're looking for the best road illumination. 4500k lights are pretty much pure white, which gives you the highest amount of useable light, instead of more ultraviolet which you cant even see (bluer lights)
