HELP! 18x9.5 e38 rota grid Brembo fitment!!!
Well i am looking into purchasing a set of rota grids but in order for the front wheel to clear the brembos, a 5mm spacer is required...
So here is my question:
I wont need extended wheel studs will i?
im not sure how big the hub is and whether or not with the 5mm spacers i would need extended wheel studs.
TIA

you will be fine with a 5mm spacer on stock studs. anything bigger than a 5mm yes you will need to go with extended studs.
I ran a 8mm spacer on my grids before i went with extended studs all the way around.

cause i have extended studs for my 20 mm spacers on my rear right now and thinking about swapping wheel studs from front to rear so i have my extended studs on the front and not on the rear.

You'll be fine with only a 5mm on stock studs. Don't go bigger though.
Personally, I get sketched out over tight fitments with brakes so close to the wheels.
Why don't you take your rear extended studs and put them up front instead?

its ok... 18x 10's im too worried my tires would be too stretched on that to the point that i dont like them and i dont want to have to buy new tires... but were those a custom fitment?

Will look sick. I'll probably make it to bam to check it out.
I think the 18x10 grids were sold as evo fitment. But I could be wrong.

Lately the Subaru has been getting a lot of attention however! Got the 05 STI fender flares on finally and some other little things almost got all the pieces for my 05 dash conversion, and will soon be getting a but load of new bushings, roll center adjusters, ALK, EWG, STI TMIC, Headers, and a tune... then probably gunna get wheels after all that!
