gap between rear seat and rear deck?

hey do you guys have a gap between the rear back seats and the rear deck (cover for trunk). i got some springs installed and for some reason the dudes took out my whole back seat and now i see a gap. i don't know if it's supposed to be like that or they didn't put it on right. this is a 03 wrx sedan btw.

They may not have put the seats back in correctly. On the back of the seats are 3 bars that need to be hooked onto a hook. When you take out your seats you will see what i mean. It will take you less than 5 min to remove the rear seats.

they have to remove the rear seats to get to the three nuts that hold the strut in. I just lowered my car and have no gap between the seat and rear deck. if you were to pull on the top of the seat, does it come forward? if so, they didn't latch the hooks on the rear seat.

if i pull the center then it would pull back slightly. are there instructions online on how to remove the rear seats? I only need to remove the rear back seats, not the butt seats right?

Yes you have to remove seat cushion to do backrest..

Wow, Rocket science here, j/k

Two bolts to remove seat cushion.
Grab the front of the seat cushion and lift up to unlatch the rear. 3 bolts at base of backrest. Make sure top of rest is secured without a gap before reinstalling 3 bolts. To put seat cushion back in, at 45 degree angle, slide back edge under hook, bring front down and push in (make sure seatbelts are pulled out properly) put two bolts in place. You should be done now.
Hope this helps.
