Lemme share how it looks like for the lamix films.
The color looks pretty Euro. Easy to install. This is the best options that I found up to now in terms of price and style.

Installed PIAA H3 Ion Crystal bulbs...the driving lights were just a bit too 'white' for me in fog & snow...reflected too much back. The H3 Ion's when on look just slightly more yellow than stock, but the light that reflects off of things is yellow...pretty wicked looking.
Last night after rain there was fog hovering over the road...while as bright as the stock driving lights these aren't as noticable to the driver in terms of reflected back light...these really cut through the fog and make visibility better...SO much better than stock...so if you deal with a lot of fog/rain/snow I would recommend these bulbs as replacements for the stock driving lights...

Very nice vw_wrx. To those that are skeptical, the yellow defintely looks better in person than in pictures. Plus you can't beat the protection it provides. If you don't like the yellow, then buy yellow bulbs and protect the lights with clear film. check with Brian at Flash N' Dash. He's actually got a special going on right now for all Lamin-x products.
