fixing a leak in the windshield
Hi - I have a serious problem with my '98 legacy L. It has a leak in the windshiled seal(or above it - I can't quite tell) which is right above the steering wheel. During really really rainy nights - when I get up in the morning - there will be drips of water that have dripped down from the leak. This leak also causes moisture to build up in my car - making it fog up a whole lot. Can anyone tell me how to fix this leak? I'm getting desperate! Thanks so much for your time!

Piney issue
I had what appeared to be a leak near the pillar/windhsield area, only to find out it was water that was backing up in the sunroof area and rolling down. Apparently pine needles got stuck in the drain tubes and clogged it up. "Not a warranty repair", as they told me $55 later.

Can you see it from the outside of the car? If so, go down to your local home-improvement store and buy some marine silicone caulk. It's clear, and is used on boats to seal the edges of windows. Then, the application would be fairly simple if you could see the leak. If not, then take a thin strip of the silicon and run it along the top edge of the windshield near the leak. It's a temporary fix and it will probably last a year or two, but that leak is definitly something you will want a professional to fix permanently.
