Laquer paint remover does the trick, heat first then laquer remover. It doesn't f' up the clear coat either.

sand paper,:banana: no you could use a heat gun, gasoline sometimes works with adhesives.

3M makes some adhesive remover that worked pretty good when i removed my trunk badge. just make sure to wash and wax the area when your done.

when i did the headlight paint mod and i was taking it apart i got so much glue on the lense. and i stuck. and i soaked in hot water/soapy for 10 minnutes and rubbed lightly with a sponge and it came right out. no elbow grease needed

heat works well on the foam, just a hair dryer will do. then I found that alcohol works well on the glue...

lots of stuff will work. first use a fishing line to take off emblem or credit card. then just rub remaining glue off with goo gone/glue off. and wax the area off and viola!

Some goo-gone, wd-40, and an hours worth of elbow grease cleared my trunk of all emblems and residue.
