Do you have tinted windows?
#4
thanks for the help...I ended up going for Formula One's darkest tint for all the windows (except the front windshield, obviously...) it was interesting how the salesperson needed me to actually say the words, "I want you to install the ILLEGAL tint on my car," as if I was wearing a wire or something...(sigh)

~190 iirc. 5% all the way around. i love it, just wish i could 'legally' put a layer of 35 on the whole windshield.
i have heard that if you have a history of eye problems you can get some type of waiver from your doctor authorizing you to have tint covering your whole windshield. anyone else heard this...b.s.?

I did most of my wagon myself. I used 15% LLumar for the 4 rear windows and paid $60 to have the rear done at 5% (that shop also used LLumar). Total cost was $80.

i just got mine done on wednesday. 20% all around. Looks real nice. I paid $110. They do a great job. one of the better people to deal with. Trust me. I had 3 tint jobs already in the past year and a half. ;-)

In NJ you can put any percentage tint on the back windows. No tint on the driverside or passenger side front windows. Windshield tint is also illegal. You prolly can get away with at least 35% tint all around though but you won't pass those free inspections. I ran around with 35% in my old car and never got hassled by cops. Prolly going to go 20% and see if I can push my luck.
Hope this helps.
