Yeah the scooby mod works on the dual bulb GT headlamps, but not on the L single bulb headlamps... I have yet taken the time to find what wire sends the signal and can be 'sniped'

quality HID bulb is rated to have a lifetime of 3000hrs... even if you drives your car for 3hrs/day... you still don't need to worry about replacement for 3years... also, unlike halogen, turning on/off often wouldn't hurt the bulb.

PS.. I did disable the DRL but it was easy.. just unplug the socket right in front of passenger strut tower on my 97.

DRL Disconnect

Sorry but i cannot find the proper procedure to disable the DRL's. I have an 03 wrx impreza wagon. I removed the glove-box the only plug/switch connector was for the headlights...i found no other connectors to disable the DRL's. Please help
