Cut rear deck for speakers - can panel be replaced? (was: Made an oops)

I made an oops. Big oops and you guys will hate me.

I was all pumped to put a system in my car, of course some of you may have been. But I wasn't happy with the 4" in the rear doors so I decided to say screw those, and cut holes in the back for room for 6.5" Well I'm not happy because my buddy still hasn't helped put them in yet and I'm starting not to like that idea I already cut the holes.

What if I wanted to get rid of this car? How much would I be bashed in price if I was looking to sell it or trade in? And is it possible to get a new back piece and put it? By "back" I mean under the rear windshield.

From what he's saying, It sounds like he cut the rear deck (behind the rear seats, under rear window). If you didn't botch it up too bad, just replace the panel --> trade it in on a new car at the dealer.

I'd suggest bringing to a upholstery shop and have them just cover the hole with the same shade of gray felt if they can. Just hope the next owner doesn't put something heavy back there b/c it may fall through the area that was "cut" and "covered".
