Clear headlights on '04 STi..??
#2
I just did mine 30 min. ago! Very easy. Just pull the head lights out, remove the screws and wire harnesses, heat oven at 200 F, Place light on cookie sheet and heat for 10-15 min. , remove and pull appart front half from back and pop out the orange pieces. Place back in oven at same temp and same time to re heat to get the glue sticky again, pull out and reseat the two halves, repeat for other side. Done!!!!
Check out Nasioc.com in the dressup and style section and look for how to clear my04 headlights.
Good luck

There is also a pretty decent write-up/how-to at ScoobyMods.
FYI, if you want to be sure that you meet all the CA legal requirements, I'd recommend doing some research of the California Vehicle Code .
I'm no lawyer, but my interpretation is that 'turn signal' lights may be either amber or white in color. However it also seems fairly specific that any 'marker' light is visible from the side of the car, that is must be amber in color. So, thats why I elected to leave in the small amber lense of the marker light which has the cutout that faces to the sides of the car.

p.s. Everything I need to switch to 300mm fogs is in the country. USPS tried to deliver it yesterday, but I hadn't returned from a business trip yet. I tried to pick them up just before the post office closed, but the delivery truck hadn't returned yet.

i uno. that bulb just looks plain old rice. just get a yellow bulb. as for the parking lights. i unno. i think keeping the parking light yellow is better. clear parking lights will be weird. white parking lights look funny. completely ruin the purpose of parking lights

Even with the white bulb it flashes yellow. So it is fine. Even more noticable. If you don't like that, then you can get the clear bulb that flashes amber. Or, just get another ambear bulb for the rear and use it in the front. The turn signal in front (clear) is the same as the bulb for the rear only it is not amber, part #'s same.
