Carbon fiber interior trim - real CF or simulated?

Carbon Fiber Interior trim
Is the trim in my 03 WRX real carbon fiber or is it just carbon fiber "look"

It is "carbon fiber look". At least it was back in 2002, so I assume it's the same for the 2003 models.

If you look in to it and it doesn't trip you out, then its not real CF. Real CF has a layered appearance behind a laminate, because thats how its made, CF look on the other hand, is usually just painted on using various shades of silver and grey
