bulb replacement for headlights/foglights

Since our stock foglights consume 55W am I able to put in a higher wattage bulb? Are there any bad things that can happen?

You might melt something in the assembly. I put 9W bulbs in my corner lights of my RS once and they melted the plastic...which is why I changed my corner lights.

I'm using the

PIAA bulbs from Tire Rack (you can get them locally) with no problems. They're rated at 110/120W. I believe they're the 9007 model. I have the box at home.

You may want to upgrade your relays to stay on the safe side.
