Question Boost Gauge

I just bought a TurboSX high performance boost controler and now i need a boost gauge. I dont want to go all out on gauges so im just looking for the boost gauge and pod. Does anyone have any ideas? I found a OEM one that mounts on the steering column but i dont know how good it is. Also i would prefer that it was in PSI not bar. Thanks!

Ok, all i plan on doing is a AEM CAI, TurboXS BOV(the rfl), the boost controler, samco intercooler and radiator hoses, kartboy short shifter w/ bushings, and a turboxs catback system. I just need a boost gauge that will read correctly.

OEM works fine but is in mpi not psi it goes up to 1.5 bars (I think) thats plenty of guage for the stock turbo considering full boost at stock is only .09 bars.

Wicked, Q for you...

Why is the OEM gauge pod SO DAMN EXPENSIVE? Two dealerships here in town quoted me $1100+ for parts and install. Man, that's NUTS!!!

Any better solutions?

I went onto www.subaruwrxparts.com and found just a boost gauge that mounts on the steering column. Maybe the places by you are talking about the whole set that replaces the clock. Still that seems over priced.

Yes, it was the 3-gague pod that replaces the clock. $599 for the unit, $800 for the labor(!)

Oh ok. That's too much for what you get. The gauges are very small.

I like that guage at www.spomotorsports.com. Does anyone have it? If so, how good is it and how do you like it?
