This black thing near the rear wheel

The black plastic? piece above the sideskirt near the rear wheels, I was just wondering how to remove this safely without damaging anything.

Don't pull if off - there's a gaping hole underneath. Also, all the folks I know who've tried to pluck it off have snapped it. Sorry I couldn't have been more helpful. It is fugly isn't it?

I think it has something to do with the mud flaps if not then its probably jsut protecting that area from dents and hits from flying things off the wheel that area is sepost to be week and things flying off without the mudflaps installd would probably make damage think about it..... just my 2 cents

Exactly. But unlike the JDM version, we have a gaping hole underneath it so it's best to careful handling it
