The Subaru mirror is made by Donnelly (also sold as ****) - you can buy them from lots of places, but you won't have the wiring harness (no big deal - just splice into the factory one) or the little plastic piece which covers the harness as it goes up under the headliner. The new mirrors also have light blue illumination rather than green. I had the Subaru autodimming compass/mirror, then upgraded to one with the compass, exterior temperature, and maplights (that was the only one which still had green lighting at the time)
You can also purchase a mirror made by Gentex - they are similar, but the display is in the upper lefthand corner of the mirror, rather than under it.
One important thing - you need to make sure that whatever mirror you buy is for a cam-lock style mount (which is what Subaru's have) - a new mirror will come with a new spring and everything.
