98 Outback Sport - Trunk Light?

The light is available, but first check if there is wiring for it in the car. Move the carpet and look with a flashlight into the gap between the plastic trim panel and the floor on the right side. The panel edge can be pried up a little bit. The connector for the light would be a T-shaped two-pole, with wires coming out from the main rear harness that runs behind the trim. The plug would be taped to the harness.
