6000k and 8000k

ok guys the question that has been boggling my mind all day which kelvin should i get in HID's the 8000k (bluish-Purple) or the 6000k(Bluish-White) i want to be noticed but not to much to where ill have problems with the cops. Anyone with 8000k have any problems?

Out of the 2, I would go for 6000k

i vote for the 6000K. If you dont care about light output and how much light is emmited, get the 8000k.

thanks guys i ordered the 6000k with philips blulbs and ballasts along with a three year warranty.

8000K looks pretty darn blue. 6000K is great. my personal fav is the 5500ish area. it's awsome.

It depends on where you are, but I'd be paranoid driving around California with the 8000k ones.

i hate to be the bearer of bad news, but phillips does not make HID kits for aftermarket use and they are actually cracking down on websites that say that they sell phillips kits. So you actually ended up buying a cheap asian kit, that has a phillips sticker on it.

oh i know the site says philips doesnt make them but they are rebased using philips bulbs and ballasts.

i have 8000k and cops haven't pulled me over yet. you should've gotten 8000k. i'll post a pic of mine and show you how bright they are compared to my mom's new 2005 lexus LS430
