The one I got with my package deal is pretty close. Not 100% spot on, but fine enough for me.

I don't know which one. I like the bezel but there is something about the pillar that excites me. Just the racer look of the pillar make it seem like your in a cockpit. (lol COCKpit)

Definitely getting some ProSport gauges to go in. I love the two color and all black when ignitions off.

The only thing I dislike about the pillar pod is that the gauges are visible outside the car. I would consider that you be a bad thing. From the driver's perspective it looks cool and all the information is easily seen and read. But from the perspective of someone passing you, like say a cop, it could give a bad impression of you and/or your car. Just my $0.02.

Yeah I never thought about that. I think I am going to go with the pillar pod though because It's like $30 cheaper and holds another gauge, I will probably repaint it though to match the stock grey or depending on how plastic and shiny it looks I might buy some DGM paint and paint all my plastic interior. Thanks for your help. Now I find myself asking.. What other gauges should I get? Water temp, Oil temp, ???.

Thats why I wired mine to a switch and not the ignition. So at least if a cop is passing me (especially at night) it will help that much more. No problems so far

I don't care about cops. I have a stock engine. Really the only thing they could get me for is probably my front windows tinted and speeding but I don;t speed by much.

Just give it time. I was pulled over for tint once and the cop popped my hood. it was kinda funny.

Since this is a gauge thread. Has anyone heard of Depo Gauges? They look like Defi knock offs and actually look pretty good. But I am kinda concerned about quality.

Im running a Sunpro Gauge from autozone so I dont think you have much to worry about on the Depo. I Heard of them before but havent met anyone with them yet.

Umm, I dunno. I don't have anything illegal under there so I just pop it.

If they ask you and you say I do not consent to any type of search of my vehicle I believe they need some sort of warrant or so unless your obviously catless than that pretty much gives them a reason to pop the hood but they are not allowed to touch or attempt to move anything.

all they need is "probable cause" -so if they have a small reason to suspect then they can dig further. For example if they smell pot, they can seach your vehicle without any warrant. or if they see a roach in your ashtray, that give them cause to search further. So if they see/hear your car is modified they can seach further for violations.
