Looks sweet! I might do this to my own.

But when the 10year period does come and the vinyl starts to come off by it self or by the owner, does it affect the paint in a way that it could peel the paint too?

Thanks

Wow, glad I clicked on this thread, I am in love with that Matte Silver color, giving me some ideas for my own car. And of course the Matte white is always a nice looking color. You have great taste my friend, love the car!

Thanks,
Rick

How much do you think a whole car wrap would cost? I'm looking to wrap my 1983 Porsche 944 in matte white. It does have a sunroof as well.

I have been looking into this as well, and I think it comes down to the quality of vinyl you use, and if you pay someone to do it or not. I saw a thread on a BWM forum where he wrapped his own car with "Cheaper" vinyl. I recall him saying it was only about 300-400 for all the wrap he needed, but just commented that the higher end stuff was easier to work with, and would last longer of course. But if you are like me, and want to change colors once or twice a year, than the cheap stuff might be perfect. I do know the high end stuff with a pro installing it, can get up into the thousands.

Hope this helps, but I would like to hear from the OP as well
Thanks,
Rick

ah of course I did not read the part where he lists the price...

He said a few posts down:
"spent $450 on a 60 inch by 40 foot roll. I got 3M 1080 Scotchprint M21, it was very easy to work with."

Thanks,
Rick
