there is a yellow plug under the passenger side dash. all you have to do is unplug it.

^ What he said...

I was expecting to read about a bunch of seatbelt clicking and e-brake pulling and key turning.

If you check a couple posts down on that thread it says that the same process will work for 05.

There's another spot inside the engine bay. I'll upload pics tomorrow morning.

What's in the engine bay is just the dropping resistor, disconnecting it will interrupt the ground path for the DRL's and turn them off IF your lights are stock. However this does not actually disable the DRL control module and it will still be applying power to the headlights, so if you modify your lights with HIDs or aftermarket headlights that use direct grounding, the DRL function will return. Unplugging the main control module by the glovebox WILL eliminate the DRL system for good.

Here is the module to unplug to get rid of your daytime running lights. When I had my KLight HID installed I had this unplugged.

That is the dropping resistor. Re-read my post above to see why it's not a good idea to just unplug that without unplugging the main control module inside the car, especially when adding HIDs or other aftermarket light setups.

It worked fine on my lights. No need to unplug anything in the dashboard. I have KLight HID's too.
