Electrical Boost Gauge... I Need Some Help!

Question Electrical Boost Gauge... I Need Some Help!

ok so i got this boos gauge its elctrical with the peak boost thing im new 2 this **** so i need some help. i can hook up the vacume line and **** just fine its the damn power wires that i cant figer out.... there is a orange white black and red wire coming from the power connection... i hook up red and orange 2 bat. and i get nothin but if i wiggled them i would get a lil flash of the needle. i hook them all up and i get this alarm sound like it beeps every 2 seconds and the needle jumps up and down. i have 2 be doin something wrong here. if someone could tell me what wire goes where it would be so helpfull. i havent spliced my vacume line yet cuz i didnt feel i should if i cant even get the power wires connected properly.... someone HELP PLEASE!

Hook your negative to the cars chassi. Your making a ground loop by going to the positive and negative battery terminals.

ok so whats with the white wire is that a ground also?

i just put neg 2 the car chassi and put pos 2 bat and i got the same damn annoying constant beebing with the gauge changing colors and what not. does it make a diff if i dont have all my vaccume lines hooked up? i mean it should atleast turn on and read no boost shouldnt it?

In most cases, RED+, Blk-, White/Orange are the signal wires. Give a clue on the brand and we'll see if we can dig a schematic up.
