I have these kilovolt regulator boxes that we hook up to your home and business that should lower your electric bill. LMK if anyone is interested. Can give you references. 392-8337

We had these things on the mainland, and they really work. I once discovered that it would actually regulate power depending if the refrigerator was on or not, thats pretty damn accurate.

A few questions:

what is the pricing on these?
initial setup fee?
any re-occurring fees?
will this work in a town house?

This box gets installed at your subpanel box it will take its own 2 pole breaker. We mount the unit to the wall near the panel. It's 6" square so not too big - NEMA III rated and UL listed.

THere is no maintenance on it - a light will be "on" on the box and if the light goes out we replace it during the first 5 yrs but the box is rated for 20 yrs. Installation takes 30 minutes. very clean install

The technology has been around for at least 10 years and it wasn't until recently when people started looking for ways to cut down on their utilities. Hawaii pays the most per killowatt use - two to three times and NY is second.
With all the power outages happening it will be a matter of time that HECO will have to upgrade their network which means $$ pass down to the USERS

What is your review of this device? What kind of results are you seeing? Was this past month a "typical" usage month for you and your family?

Interested in details on this.

wassup burt...

I'm still collecting data & recording KW hours.

I'll hopefully have a better idea of the impact this device is making over the next several weeks.

So, I've been collecting data for about 6 weeks now.

If you compare the last 3 weeks with the 3 weeks before that...

My Kilowatthour consumption is down about 15.5%.

It's better to track actual energy consumption that just looking at your bill since the average rates have been going up consistently this summer:
