Can some one recommend me a good tinting place? the tint on my car is pealing .. I'm looking to do all 4 windows and the front windshield. Thanks a lot.

 

Al's Tinting in Pearl City. I thought front windshield tint was illegal?

Peeps been pushing Llumar Air80 lately - almost clear film but blocks a lot of UV and some IR.

 

I think it was either 80 or 70% was legal now

 

go to Als he's done 5 of my cars. We did ceramic tint on my wifes new suby.

 

How is the pricing for Al's tinting?

 

i got my cars done by keith at special T. he is near sports authority on ward. his phone number is cell is 593.9077. he only does cermanic now but his prices are cheap compared to everyone else. it was $200 for referals up till last year but as of jan he raised his price. i think it is somewhere around $300 now for cars.

another good shop is pro tint hawaii in kalihi. they are a little more expensive. 847.8468. i think their ceramic is around $375 for a car.

just call and ask for their pricing. both companies are friendly.

 

also take into account what kinda tint they use and what their "lifetime" warranty covers

 

I recommend t&t. But they are expensive lmao. Luckily I got major hook ups.

 

They did a great job on my wife's Mazda.

I suggest NO TINT.

It is FREE and doesn't consume any of your time or effort
It doesn't make backing up at night a pain in the Bung hole
You dont have to worry about tickets or safety inspection
you dont have to pay extra for checking tint for safety
You can see better and are less likely to be in an accident
You dont have to worry about it bubbling, peeling, or having to remove it one day.

 

Special T Tinting... keith does a good job at a resonable price. ceramic tint is the best. just ask him to show u the difference between ceramic and regular tint. ull be sold!
