Stock 03 Subaru WRX rims. Tires are Nexen N3000. Size is 225/45 R16. They are really wide tread. great grip.

I did a STI swap on my 2003 wrx so these rims will not fit. Had just bought new tires. only used them for one month. Brand new tread. They are mounted and ballanced. Ready to bolt on.

I have the recipt still. paid $448 for the tires. Now, these tires cost over $800! Wow. everything is getting expensive...... Rims are worth $400 maybe? Buy 'em together, just $750 OBO

Thx. Yea, maybe the price is a bit high. It's hard to sell stock rims. I just figured because these tires are brand new condition (used less the 2 months of going to work type driving) and they are over $800 new, and nexen N3000s which I think are bad *** tires, and come with perfectly good wrx rims......... maybe I'm just high. LoL.

since you are new i will not flame you & tell you to search i will help you out by providing links in hawaii to what they are worth........ again im sorry but your price is waaaaaay to much. you will get 350-400 only cause the tires are newly used nothing really for the rims....

Your saying wrx rims sell for 50-60 bucks for a set of all 4? Really? All you guys agree with this?

And that a matching set of Z rated tires are only worth $300 for a set of 4 mounted and ballanced? (do you guys think Nexen N3000 tires suck?). Personally I liked these tires so much, I bought the same ones for my STI swap.

These are the widest tires you can put on a wrx with stock rims.

I like stock rims. These are some strong rims. IMO.

On another note.....

Who has bought tires recently? How much did you pay out the door? They are getting expensive!

i bought 2 tires for my wrx recently. was michellins i believe.....from sams club.....nothing special and they were over $100 a piece if i recall (would have to consult my receipt for the exact dollar amount)....and yes, tires are expensive.
his item, his price.....thats how i feel! ask whatever you want for YOUR stuff

personally im a dunlop star spec guy! amazing tires and performance you can get them for probably 700-800 for all 4 mounted and balanced...... mines are 235/40/17

you can sell it for whatever you want just dont expect it to sell quick and fast..... you might have a better chance on CL since there are other cars out that Toyota MR2, corolla ect ect that can fit these rims and would be a upgrade for those guys. for our cars its not really a upgrade so you "may" have a much better chance on getting more money there...... jsut trying to help ya out not trying to flame you

I hate to beat a dead horse, but a few things that no one else seemed to mention...

If you spent $450 on the tires, they're not $800 tires. They're $450 tires.
They're also W rated, not Z rated.
Nexen isn't that great of a tire. They're generally regarded as cheap tires to get you going (to me at least (no offense)).
For a frame of reference, I recently got a set of 235/40/18 Toyos bought and mounted for $480...
$750 for 16" wheels and tires isn't much of a deal at all.

Like the rest have chimed in, the price is pretty high. I personally won't flame you, as I agree with **** and DD, that you sell it for what you want. Just understand the supply and demand aspect too. That is almost the price that people pay for STi BBS's, so keep that in mind as well.

As for the tires, I personally like Nexen's for what they are. They're a cheap tire, handle decently, are quiet, and have good tread life. All of those things (For me) make it a good buy. That price you paid though......not so good. As a reference, I bought a brand new set of N3000's 245/35/19's and 275/30/19's for less than that, mounted and balanced. Shop around and you can find good deals.

Price is high man. If I was in need of OEM wheels and tires (Nexen is NOT my 1st choice) like this i would list them for $350-400. I have my OEM set at home, and if i were to sell them, I'd expect they would fetch $50-$100.
