Zilla TD06 18G it is......

So after some research and reading a ton of posts I have decided to go with the following turbo for my 05 STI.

Zilla TDO6H 18G w/
-Black Xtreme(TM) coating-turbine housing
-Red Ceramic coating-compressor housing
-Monster Port(TM)
-Compressor Port

Additionally I will be adding a FMIC, Gruppe-S headers, Gruppe-S lightened crank pulley, DW 650cc injectors, Walbro fuel pump and JDM TGV deletes. As for a map I am going to use one from PDX tuning till Jarrad makes it around and then have him Pro tune it for excellence!

you might want to get a different header. i mean if your going for max power no sense putting on an unequal header. if your going to go unequal look at the maddad, tomei, or agency power header. if you can wait 4 months there's a group buy going on for some promising equal length ones that are a super steal! new company making their own design and the first 5 get an uber good price. well GL and don't forget to lmk when your fozzie gets here. i wanna make luv to it

Good Luck & Congrats!!
On your new toys/project. Coming soon.

You should make roughly anywhere between 330-352awhp. w/the mods you mentioned. Keep in mind fuel system is a must.

BTW; Gruppe S header are O.K.---Have few friends here who are running mid 10's w/ them...but they are now changing to equal length header.

Keep us posted!!!

Pass on the crank pulley. You'd be better off with a lightend flywheel. Don't run both together.

Justin during my research I found no irrefutable evidence that one made more power than the other and if there was it was by a small margin. i do however prefer the boxer rumble and was one my reasons for going this route.

well the agency power and the maddad are both unequal and cheaper than the gruppe-s and they come with the up pipe. i like the boxer rumble too and so i'll be going unequal. GL with the projects

ive got the gruppe-s header, and i guess im happy with it, it leaks at the slip joints, but ive been told its supposed to when its cold, then seals up when hot..... i ended up welding those things shut haha... it made it harder to reinstall because it no longer flexed. i personally think they were there to help aid in installation should their product be slightly off in the manufacturing process, i mean those high end headers dont seem to have those flex points on them... as for performance, there was quite a difference, feels like the engine breathes better. after going back to stock for a day or two, i immediately reinstalled the gruppe-s header. the stocker just felt so restrictive....

full-race now making turbo upgrade packages. .....
was just a thought....
some mula bucks though...but they've always used the best materials matched with some quality fit to finish and welds.

Howzit Jess,

Glad to hear that you're coming home soon.

Are you still going the Warrant route? I don't think I will be for awhile. I have a cushy AGR job as the Training NCO. I like that fact that I don't have to PCS, but the pay grade for this position is E6. Dude, I'll be stuck at this pay grade for a bit.

Also, I have JDM STi TGVs (without the butterfly) and a Gruppe-S manifold. If you're interested, I'll sell them to you if I can source a USDM or JDM powertrain.

Shoots!
