...on this thread would be greatly appreciated. I'm opening a sandwich shop called the Beach Hut Deli (local) and need ideas for beers on tap. What better than tapping the public to help me decide?
I know I’m not supposed to cross post but once won't hurt. Besides, this list needs to get generated quickly.
Thanks,
Eric

At a minimum:
Bud and Bud Light.
If you're going to get into the better stuff, then also:
Steinlager
Heineken (it's actually pretty good on tap)
Gordon Beirsh (sp?) Martzen
If you're going to get into the killaz:
Harp Lager
Guinness Stout
Bass Ale
Harp Lager is from the same brewery as Guinness, and is one of the best lagers I've had.
Guinness is a good dark beer, and sells very well at most places that keep it on tap.
Bass Ale is an amazing English pale ale.
All three of those would cover the bases pretty good on the premium side, without being redundant to the rest of the lineup.
All of the beers listed are available in kegs from the local distributorships.
Hope this helps.

I
second the Gordon and Bass, can't vouch for the Harp. I grew up in St. Louis, and can't stand any Bud, Busch, etc. But the masses need something generic. I'd add Sam Adams if possible, but not sure how big your place will be.
