Intercooler is still a work in progress. The bumper needs to be cut more...
Oh and the hoses need to be hooked up too. I guess I might get around to that sometime. It's all about the Bling Bling ya know?

And if you hadn't noticed, Crazy Dom went and took the big ol' S U B A R U off of the trunk... yeah.... that's right... I'm crazy. Watch out.
*SIGH*

Hey wait a minute. You all think I'm crazy?

Ha ha ha ha.

I'd do it again.

Hey Dom. I've been thinking. It's probably the sensor itself that's bad. I doubt that everytime I've used it, I let it warm up sufficiently.

Hey, you oughta take off all your badges off of your trunk and put on

People will think it's Czechoslovakian or something.

Pat, I've narrowed it down to something in the heating circuit.
It could be the sensors heater itself or the controller's heating circuit. I'm going to take some more resistances on various resistors and stuff. Someone else had a very similar problem to ours and it was the big 5W resistor that had failed. I think maybe we should replace that resistro (<--- also czech).

Dude,

Don't make me bust out with the Grunt jargon.

BLUF, do you think it's salvageable? If there's any damage, is it reversable or repairable? Did you read the Crucible? When I was a boxer, I broke my mandible. I'm not being reasonable.

huh?

I'm still troublshooting.
I don't think it's hopeless. However it could cost a few bucks to fix.
Hopefully just a few bucks and not 130 for a new sensor.

Hey you could use this recent picture for your website.

no not yet.
Pat was slightly mistaken.
I have ONE head that is ported and polished.
I'm going to yank out the engine. POrt and Polish the other head and put it all back together.
I don't know when I'm going to do that though...

I'm still going to cut out the license plate bracket thingy.

Just curious...

Do you also have stiffer valve springs? Are you using stock buckets?

I plan to work on my heads too. Just to clarify, are the intake cams .20mm and the exhaust cams .25mm?

Thanks,
chris

Is it possible for us to have lunch? Maybe we can share ideas since we are on a similar path. I'd sure appreciate your advice.

I thought you were using WRX heads?

My heads are all stock.
I do plan on getting stiffer springs later on, but right now I can't afford it. THen I'm going to bump up the rev limiter to give me more use of my gears and boost. However, I can't afford that right now too.

It's X-mas, I'm all alone. I'm going to be at my house working on my cars all day long. If you wanna stop by that's cool. 778-2174 is my cell. I can't promise I'll answer it, but you can leave a message.

Thank you!

Yes, I have the stock WRX cast, but I'm in the market for the V8 Spec C cast; I'm still undecided with the valvetrain and cams. The ports are bigger and smoother compared to any of the previous casts.

For about $500, you can purchase a set of complete JDM WRX heads that has shim under buckets. The ports will also be bigger than the USDM ports. I can give you the number to the shop.
