Find a rex for rent or somethin'!!! They've gotten a TON of snow up there! It's probably rained off by now, though.

You want my wife to look for a job for you in Colo Springs? She found herself a job that pays TWICE as much as Hawaii. Too bad she's now a stay-at-home mom. It's killing my car to turn down that kind of cash.

I hope my daughter appreciates it later.

Nah... I have to wait for Erin to finish her second degree before we can go anywhere. That'll be another 2 years or so. Thanks for the offer though.

I am looking for a new job (I don't even care what field it's in) though. Wish me luck here in Hawaii.

I believe that if one parent can feasibly stay home until the child's early development has concluded - he/she will be MUCH better off than otherwise. It worked for me (my mom has NEVER had a job). Well, at least I THINK it worked for me. :P

My wife was taking home very close to what I was making back in NY, but we decided to live off one income until my son is of schooling age. It's definitely a huge sacrifice, but well worth it IMHO. More importantly, being the sole bread-winner is a good excuse to get out of household chores too.
