Wtf can be wrong w my bugeye?

Wtf can be wrong w my bugeye?

Im not a mechanic but just now drove from ewa beach to Schofield and my 02 wrx overheated. When I parked heard a pop and steam come from under hood. Its raining so im gonna let it cool down a couple hours then take a peek......but I inly drove it like 9 miles.....I just had the coolant changed 4 days ago....what are some symptoms and cures please.....ty for your help.

Ok no no bubbles popped open hood nothing spewed just steam hose from radiator to block is intact....possible thermostat stuck open?

Found prob busted hose small one from cap to overflow....thank god lol thanks to all

Strange how dumb shiz happens to things like that. Like how does a random hose just wanna go? Whatever at least your back on track

the hose may have burst due to air pressure. You need to make sure the system is burped really well.. Turn on the heater on highest setting. Get a funnel with a decent size res. built in. put it in the fill spout. Let the car heat cycle. When the thermo opens the coolant will enter the res. but will enter the spout again once air bubbles are out. give the upper hose a squeeze when thermo open and youll see the bubbles. Do this until the coolant doesnt enter the res anymore. I've seen some occasions when it helps to burp the bottom hose also.

You need to bleed your collant system ... Probly air inside or stuck theormostat ...
