WTB: laser jammer .... any suggestions?

So apparently the HPD only uses laser speed guns; correct? I was wondering if any of you guys knew a place that sells a decent laser jammer...? Car Tunes in Kailua has the K40, but I was looking for something a little better. I may just order one online and have it installed. Any suggestions?

I think I remember some kind of paint-on stuff that, when combined with the jammer, makes it more effective.

I forget the name of the stuff. I think it's a transparent coating that you paint your headlights with.

hehe. Just a FYI.

You can always incorporate military stealth technology into your car.

That or buy a crap load of laser pointers and set them all on your bumper to try to shoot at the cops' lasers.

Seriously though...the K40 has a warranty against getting a ticket so just go with that...or don't speed

I'd recommend going with Blinder.....it's repeatedly tested the best over the years. They also offer a ticket warranty like the K40. Multiple heads offer superior protection but makes installation very important.......you definitely get what you pay for (time is money), soI wouldn't go with the lowest price.

I haven't been posting for a long time but my recommendation is Earl at Island Sound Customs. Outstanding reputation and probably the most experienced installer on island.

They sell the BlinderM25 there? I wonder what else they have, but probably best to keep this on the down low if the po po may be reading this as you dont want them to know that things like laser jammers are available as we are reading and posting about this for "facts" only right,..........

Anyways, as from what I'vre read, having a radar/laser detector is illegal and can be confiscated. A laser jammer is not illegal in Hawaii and does it job if mounted correctly against laser guns. installation is easy and it works great for the money. Blinder has a patent on it, but its not the best, but the best ones cost close to $1000 as they jam lasers in a different manner that is better than how the Blinder does it. But for the cost, the Blinder is a great deal and in the same price range as some laser detectors, but the detect only and wont jam it so if they gun you, you will still get tagged. Jammers all originated in the eastern countries though so it will be hard to get for the good ones unless you find the people/places that have imported them in.

good luck.

The Blinder is a jammer. Once you are lasered... you slow down to posted speeds... turn off the unit... after passing the po po ... you can turn on if needed. don't eye the guy... he might be eyeing you with a strange look.

I saw and spoke to a vendor at SEMA.
